Our premium Grade-A Bali thatch features distinctive light-colored stitching and can last up to 12 years with proper installation and requires no ongoing maintenance. The lifespan depends on climate conditions, with tropical and subtropical environments being ideal.

Installing Bali thatch is a job many people can do as a DIY project. Strips are layered horizontally across the roof between the rafters. Each strip is 2.1 metres in length and layered at 80mm apart horizontally. Corner hips are used to seal the corner joins and ridge lines of the roof. Our prefabricated hip pieces make installation simple, easy and fast and includes the baton so don't need to pre-install those. We provide detailed installation instructions with your purchase.
